The Key To The Passing Shot: Confidence That you can Make That Winning shot.

You have an opponent who has come to the net so you’ll need to calm your nerves and have a variety of shots ready to beat this opponent. One of these shots is the passing shot. This is a tennis shot that passes an opponent who has approached the net.

It is very important to keep your cool when playing an opponent that is taking up lots of territory at the net, sometimes this is easier said than done.

Instead of concentrating on the shot, players get caught up with the player at the net. Rather than hitting a solid shot that forces your opponent to volley, then you are the one that commits the unforced error.

Remember the key here is #1 have the confidence that you can hit the winning shot, #2 keep your cool, #3 concentrate on the shot not the player at the net.
